World Championship Pool A : Contested 7th - 17th March 1963 by Canada, Czechoslovakia, Germany, GDR, Finland, Sweden, the USA and the USSR in Stockholm, Sweden.
World Championship Pool B : Contested by France, Great Britain, Norway, Poland, Romania, Switzerland and Yugoslavia in Stockholm, Sweden.
World Championship Pool C : Contested by Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Hungary and the Netherlands in Stockholm, Sweden.
