| Perth Select v Brighton Tigers 1st January 1938 - not much of a hockey motif about this one. The diagonal section appears to be holly, the thistle is plain to see but the flower for Brighton is strange but I guess it was meant to be a rose - although it looks more like the Rose of Sharon (Hypericum). Perhaps it was put together on the morning of the match by a hung-over printer who confused a hockey match with a flower show! /our thanks to Martin Harris for providing this image
