Ice Hockey Annual 1982-83, 1983-84 & 1984-85
The Ice Hockey Annual 1983-84 cover shows Ron Katernyuk, Durham Wasps netminder, collecting
the Heineken Man of the Match award after his team won the English Championship
in April 1983. 'Kat' also won the Air Canada Trophy as the British League Player
of the Year 1982-83 and was voted All-Star goalie in the Ice Hockey Annual poll.
The 1984-85 cover features Roy Halpin, of Dundee Rockets, who was the leading
point scorer in the Heineken League Premier Division and was voted Player of the
Year and All-Star right-wing by the British Ice Hockey Writers' Association.
