Newspaper Hockey Cartoon from 1934
This cartoon was reproduced in the Queens Ice Hockey Club match programme -
the match was an international friendly between Canada (represented by the Ottawa
Shamrocks) and the USA. Originally the cartoon appeared in the News of the World
- a level of recognition, by a leading national British newspaper, that has not
been achieved since 1934. In the right corner there is reference to Arsenal, who
were and are a football (soccer) team.
