The A to Z Encyclopaedia of Ice
Hockey is a free resource available to all internet users. We expect to
continue to have high
hit rates on the site as news of the resource spreads across the on-line ice hockey
community. In order to cover our costs we are making advertising space available in
the top frame of each on-line page of the encyclopaedia and on our Home Page.
For a nominal fee of US$10 per calendar year (1st of January to 31st of December) you can promote your business or services to a niche audience via this unique site.
Any advertisement should have dimensions no greater than the gif image shown above (720 x 90 pixels). The image can be either static or animated but should not exceed 25,000 bytes. If you do not have the necessary software to construct such an image, we would be happy to build a gif advert to your specifications. The banner can be linked to your web site or your e-mail as you require.
On our Home Page navigation panel a rotating banner panel can display a special 200 x 60 static banner for any advertiser wishing to appear on our Home Page - the rotation will be on a ten second basis. The navigation panel is always on the screen. A link from this banner will go to a page displaying all Home Page advertisers animated banners, these banners will link to advertiser's web sites or e-mail. All Home Page advertisers will also be linked via an entry in the Hockey Merchandise & Services section of the Quick Web Links panel on the opening page of the A to Z.
