- Born in Jönköping, Sweden. Played hockey in the youth team at HV 71 and recalls seeing
the London Lions play a tour match in his home rink in
the early 1970s. An avid hockey supporter, he follows HV 71 but
as an international hockey fan he has strong memories of three matches "the Poland
win over the USSR in the World Championships of
1976 - the Team USA gold at the Olympics in Lake Placid in
1980 and when VEU Feldkirch became EHL
champions in 1998". He says, "Such moments make hockey to the greatest sport in
the world." He works for Husqvarna AB who are world leaders in professional chain
saws and have a large customer base in the USA and Canada. The Swedish Consultant for the A to Z Encyclopaedia of Ice Hockey, he has made a
significant contribution to the overall project.
